Description:

The interfaces consist of: Standard connectors for connection to the control devices. PCB terminals with tension clamp or screw connections for the field connection. Additional components like LEDs, fuses, relays or isolators which can integrate new functions. Profiles and base frames for attaching to standard TS32 and TS35 mounting rails. The pre-assembled cables supplied by Weidmüller are also used to connect the tester with the interface. These are the advantages of the system: Saves time during the installation. No risk of wiring mistakes. Shorter schedules for project planning. Improved order in the electrical cabinet. Saves space in the cable ducts. Small module widths.……

Description

Interfaces

The interface components are available as a clear alternative to the point-to-point wiring system in order to reduce costs and to simplify the setup of the electrical cabinets. The main function of this interface is as an adapter between the control devices and field elements.
The interfaces consist of:
  • Standard connectors for connection to the control devices.

  • PCB terminals with tension clamp or screw connections for the field connection.

  • Additional components like LEDs, fuses, relays or isolators which can integrate new functions.

  • Profiles and base frames for attaching to standard TS32 and TS35 mounting rails.
The pre-assembled cables supplied by Weidmüller are also used to connect the tester with the interface.
These are the advantages of the system:

  • Saves time during the installation.

  • No risk of wiring mistakes.

  • Shorter schedules for project planning.

  • Improved order in the electrical cabinet.

  • Saves space in the cable ducts.

  • Small module widths.

Interfaces for general applications

Passive modules for a wide variety of applications:
1) Transmission of field signals to the following types of plug-in connectors:
  • Flat-cable connectors in accordance with IEC 60603-13/DIN 41651 (RSF).

  • SUB-D connectors in accordance with IEC 807-2/DIN 41652 (RSSD).

  • SUB-D high-density connectors (RSSD HD).

  • ELCO (RS ELCO) connectors.

  • RJ45 (RS RJ45) connectors.

  • USB inserts (RS USB)

2) Distribution of potential (RS VERT)
3) Modules with diodes (RSD/ RDS) for checking lamps, for example.
4) RSM interfaces with 12.7 mm or 6.1 mm relays, versions 1 CO and 2 CO. With tension clamp, PUSH IN or screw connection.
They all reduce the cabling in the cabinet.

Interface with SUB-D connectors in accordance with IEC 807-2

Passive interfaces for signal transmission on a SubD connector equipped with a clamping-yoke connection in accordance with IEC 807-2 / DIN 41652.
There is a one-to-one connection between the two inserts. The product line includes male and female headers ranging from 9 to 50 poles.
These inserts have a SubD metal housing and are therefore perfect for transmitting analogue signals or for connecting shielded cables.
