Pepperl+Fuchs HiC2031 is a SMART Current Driver featuring analog output, SIL 2 safety integrity, and SC 3 systematic capability, designed for DC bus power via a Termination Board with specific voltage and current ratings; it ensures safe electrical isolation and electromagnetic compatibility, suitable for a wide range of ambient temperatures and offering approvals such as ATEX, FM, UL, and IECEx; this device is used in industrial locations, providing reliable performance with defined input/output characteristics, and is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.


HiC2031 SMART Current Driver - Pepperl+Fuchs
This isolated barrier is used for intrinsic safety applications.
It repeats the input signal from a control system to drive HART I/P converters, valve actuators, and displays located in a hazardous area.
Digital signals are superimposed on the analog values at the field side or control side and are transferred bi-directionally.
An open field circuit presents a high impedance to the control side to allow alarm conditions to be monitored by the control system.
This device mounts on a HiC termination board.
